Coaching vs. Teaching

I was having a friendly conversation today with a friend of mine about how to work out players at the high school level. It seems to me that today’s players are a little different from players 15 years ago. I don’t think players take the time to really perfect their skill. Are You Locked In

A couple of weeks ago P.Diddy came up with a phrase called locked in. It isn't just a saying it's an action. Locked in to me means to get focus on your goals and work them until you succeed. A lot of players out here aren't locked in, yes they want to make the varsity team, or get recruited by the major schools but there not locked in. The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste

The mind is a terrible thing to waste. I don't understand why more coaches don't develop a players skills revolved more around the mind. If you can control your mind you can master the game. When I was in college my first year on of my big brothers on the team would always tell me mental toughness.
